　早野龍五理事長の退任メッセージ、そして黒河内健 新理事長の就任メッセージにもありましたように、100周年のスズキを目指して、大切な次の時代を迎えることになります。
 
　これからの20年、スズキ・メソードはどのような姿であってほしいでしょうか。子どもたちにとって、保護者にとって、指導者にとって、そして社会にとって、スズキ・メソードがどのような存在であり続けることが望ましいでしょうか。
 
　本企画では、世界中のスズキで学ぶ子どもたち、保護者、指導者、OB・OGの皆さまから、未来へのメッセージを広く募集します。以下のような視点から自由にお書きください。短い言葉でも、具体的な体験でも、建設的な提案でも大歓迎です。
 
•スズキ・メソードで学んでよかったこと
•音楽を学ぶ中で大切にしたいこと
•これからのスズキ・メソードに期待すること
•100周年を迎える頃、どんなスズキであってほしいか
•未来の子どもたちに残したいメッセージ
 
　この企画は、日本だけでなく、国際スズキ協会（ISA）とともに、世界中のスズキ・コミュニティと共有されています。一人ひとりの声が集まり、やがて大きな一本の木のように、未来のスズキ・メソードを形づくっていく—そのような願いを込めています。あなたの思いが、次の世代への道しるべになります。
 
　お寄せいただいた内容は、機関誌およびマンスリースズキなどで、順次連載しています。今回は、海外からのメッセージを以下のように掲載します。

Towards the 100th Anniversary of the Suzuki Method

 
　　As mentioned in the farewell message from Chairman Ryugo Hayano and the inaugural message from the new Chairman, Takeshi Kurokochi, we are now entering a crucial new era as we strive towards Suzuki’s 100th anniversary.
 

　　What form do you hope the Suzuki Method will take over the next 20 years? What kind of presence do you hope the Suzuki Method will continue to be for children, parents, teachers, and society?
 
　　For this project, we are inviting messages for the future from children studying the Suzuki Method, parents, teachers, and alumni all over the world. Please feel free to write from any of the following perspectives. Whether it is a few words, a specific experience, or a constructive suggestion, all contributions are most welcome.
 
• What you have gained from studying the Suzuki Method
• What you value most in learning music
• What you hope for the future of the Suzuki Method
• What you hope the Suzuki Method will be like by the time it celebrates its 100th anniversary
• A message you wish to leave for future generations
 
　　This project will be shared not only within Japan, but also with Suzuki communities around the world. We hope that each individual voice, coming together like the branches of a great tree, will help shape the future of the Suzuki Method. Your thoughts and aspirations will become a guiding light for the next generation.
 
　　The content you submit may be published in TERI’s official journal, the monthly web magazine ‘Monthly Suzuki’, and other related media.

　　 I am a Suzuki child, and even now, after having served the Suzuki community as a teacher, a trainer, as Board member and Chair for my National and Regional Associations I identify still mostly as a 'Suzuki-kid". Because learning music through the Suzuki Method has deeply influenced my idea's and values and as such has had a huge impact on my life. Dr. Suzuki's "Nurtured by Love" is a call for action, foremost a call to our conscience to think further than ourselves and focus on how each of us can contribute: in our family, with our neighbours, students, colleagues.

　　My wish for the Suzuki community is to start thinking further that the standard situation of a complete middleclass family, with both parents available, and study how we can support the single parent and the (sometimes very young) children who don't have the support from a parent. Let us research together how to grow a community that can and wants to take care of these children too.
 
　　Also, I wish for all teachers, and especially for Suzuki teachers, to rethink the business-like approach we have to teaching. Way too often we are still thinking in terms of money, power and influence. The more we become aware of how our own trauma's are influencing our choices, the closer we can come to all of us serving each other to more balance, joy and beauty.
 
　　Let us research how our contributions support a world where music halps to save the world.

　私はスズキ・メソードで育った一人であり、指導者やティーチャー・トレーナーとして、また国内および地域の協会の理事や会長としてスズキ・コミュニティに貢献してきました。今でも、やはり自分自身を「スズキの子ども」だと強く自覚しています。なぜなら、スズキ・メソードを通じて音楽を学んだ経験が、私の考え方や価値観に深く影響を与え、ひいては私の人生に多大な影響をもたらしてきたからです。鈴木先生の著書『愛に生きる』は、行動を促す呼びかけであり、何よりもまず、私たち自身の良心に訴えかけ、自分たちだけにとどまらず、家族、近隣の人々、生徒、同僚に対して、一人ひとりがどのように貢献できるかを考えるよう促すものです。

　私がスズキ・コミュニティに願うのは、両親が揃っている典型的な中流家庭という状況にとどまらず、さらに視野を広げ、片親家庭や、親からの支援を受けられない（時には非常に幼い）子どもたちを、いかに支えられるかを検討し始めることです。こうした子どもたちをもケアできる、そしてケアしたいと願うコミュニティをどのように築いていけるか、ともに模索していきましょう。
 
　また、すべての指導者、とりわけスズキの指導者の皆さんが、指導に対するビジネス的なアプローチを見直してほしいと願っています。私たちは依然として、お金や権力、影響力という観点で物事を考えがちです。自分自身のトラウマが選択にどのような影響を与えているかを自覚すればするほど、私たち全員が互いに支え合い、より大きなバランス、喜び、美しさへと近づくことができるのです。
 
　私たちの貢献が、音楽が世界を救う一助となるような世界をどのように支えているのか、ともに探求していきましょう。
