これからの20年、スズキ・メソードはどのような姿であってほしいでしょうか。子どもたちにとって、保護者にとって、指導者にとって、そして社会にとって、スズキ・メソードがどのような存在であり続けることが望ましいでしょうか。
本企画では、世界中のスズキで学ぶ子どもたち、保護者、指導者、OB・OGの皆さまから、未来へのメッセージを広く募集します。以下のような視点から自由にお書きください。短い言葉でも、具体的な体験でも、建設的な提案でも大歓迎です。

この企画は、日本だけでなく、国際スズキ協会（ISA）とともに、世界中のスズキ・コミュニティと共有されています。一人ひとりの声が集まり、やがて大きな一本の木のように、未来のスズキ・メソードを形づくっていく—そのような願いを込めています。あなたの思いが、次の世代への道しるべになります。

Towards the 100th Anniversary of the Suzuki Method
On Friday 27 March 2026, the 80th anniversary of the Suzuki Method, we successfully concluded the 55th Grand Concert at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO, featuring 2,000 performers. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for all your cooperation and support.
What form do you hope the Suzuki Method will take over the next 20 years? What kind of presence do you hope the Suzuki Method will continue to be for children, parents, teachers, and society?
For this project, we are inviting messages for the future from children studying the Suzuki Method, parents, teachers, and alumni all over the world. Please feel free to write from any of the following perspectives. Whether it is a few words, a specific experience, or a constructive suggestion, all contributions are most welcome.
• What you have gained from studying the Suzuki Method
• What you value most in learning music
• What you hope for the future of the Suzuki Method
• What you hope the Suzuki Method will be like by the time it celebrates its 100th anniversary
• A message you wish to leave for future generations
This project will be shared not only within Japan, but also with Suzuki communities around the world. We hope that each individual voice, coming together like the branches of a great tree, will help shape the future of the Suzuki Method. Your thoughts and aspirations will become a guiding light for the next generation.
The content you submit may be published in TERI’s official journal, the monthly web magazine ‘Monthly Suzuki’, and other related media.

Appreciation, and encouragement for Suzuki Pedagogy programs
Congratulations and thanks to the Suzuki Method at 80!!!
When I graduated from Suzuki Method training it was less than 40 years old. My school, Ithaca Talent Education (ITE), was founded by Joan and Sandy Reuning, who taught me and had the great judgement to hire my last teacher, Teri Einfeldt.
The school nurtured my interest in music by encouraging me to play with other kids and with adults, to play every day, to take on new challenges, to enjoy what I was doing, to listen to others, and to express myself freely.
Suzuki made music-making seem as natural as talking, walking, singing, or play. ITE developed many teachers through the Ithaca College program in Suzuki Pedagogy, and with its summer institute was responsible for a great cohort of young musicians in my hometown as I grew up, in our youth orchestras and chamber music groups. It was a great foundation for my life appreciating music, and as an amateur violinist and occasional fiddle player.
And it launched careers of many professionals, like Helen Pohl, Belinda Reuning, Jennifer Reuning, Carrie Reuning, Melinda Daetsch, and to some degree Richard Auldon Clark.
My vision for the Suzuki Method at 100 in the USA is the continued success and growth of programs in Suzuki Pedagogy, like the current program at the University of Hartford's Hartt School, to support and develop the music teachers who will lead the next next generation of musicians.

スズキ・メソードの80周年、おめでとうございます！そして感謝を申し上げます!!!
私がスズキ・メソードの研修を修了した当時、このメソードが誕生してからまだ40年も経っていませんでした。私が通っていた「イサカ・タレント・エデュケーション（ITE）」は、ジョアンとサンディ・ルーニング夫妻によって設立されました。二人は私に指導をしてくれただけでなく、私の最後の先生であるテリ・アインフェルトを採用するという素晴らしい判断をくだしてくださいました。
この学校は、他の子どもたちや大人たちと一緒に演奏すること、毎日演奏すること、新しい挑戦をすること、自分のやっていることを楽しむこと、他人の演奏に耳を傾けること、そして自由に自分を表現することを奨励することで、私の音楽への興味を育んでくれました。
スズキ・メソードは、音楽を奏でることを、話すこと、歩くこと、歌うこと、あるいは遊ぶことと同じくらい自然なことに感じさせてくれました。ITEは、イサカ・カレッジのスズキ教育法プログラムを通じて多くの教師を育成し、そのサマー・インスティテュートを通じて、私が育った故郷のユース・オーケストラや室内楽グループにおいて、数多くの若い音楽家たちを輩出しました。それは、音楽を愛する私の人生、そしてアマチュアのヴァイオリニストや時折フィドルを演奏する私にとって、素晴らしい礎となりました。
また、ヘレン・ポール、ベリンダ・ルーニング、ジェニファー・ルーニング、キャリー・ルーニング、メリンダ・デッチ、そしてリチャード・オールドン・クラークといった多くのプロフェッショナルのキャリアのきっかけともなりました。
米国における「スズキ・メソード」100周年に向けた私のビジョンは、ハートフォード大学ハート・スクールで現在実施されているプログラムのように、スズキ教育法に基づくプログラムの継続的な成功と成長を通じて、次世代の音楽家を率いていく音楽教師たちを支援し、育成していくことです。
